You can use other meteor packages for sure. For the react based stuff, usually you can go with NPM.

So, if I understand your response right, what the Mantra docs are saying is to not use Meteor packages specifically for React code, but for non-React code it’s OK. For React code, it should use straight npm? I guess that makes sense as there is no telling what the Meteor package is doing to get things to work in a Meteor environment, whereas the npm package would be more “pure”.
