AI is or is not a subset of ML ?
- From an academic perspective, of course not ! Are you crazy !
- From a business perspective, ML is just the technical implementation, AI is the concept.
they don’t care.
- For regular peoples, ML does not exist, they talk about AI, and they
go crazy with it because they simply don’t know the reality of it which is… ML.

After Months of learning as much as I could, My personal feeling is that ML is not as
intelligent as it seems. It’s just supervised learning in 99% of the cases, the system
reproduce what it learned. Of course the quality of the system is its ability to
generalize but there is no way to be scared about that, there is no intelligence here,
just statistics (Bayesian or Frequentist).

The only thing that can be scary is to see how people are confident in these systems
because, precisely, they think they are intelligent! THEY ARE NOT ! Never ever think
a computer is intelligent. It will bug. soon or later. And I don’t want to see how a
google car can bug in the middle of a highway…
