OMG WTF! You just can’t make this stuff up.

ESPN, in perhaps the worst programming decision since ‘Heidi’ replaced the Jets-Raiders game on TV, actually pulled an Asian-American announcer from an upcoming University of Virginia football game because he has the same name as the Confederate Army’s most famous general.

I kid you not. ESPN — which should really be called the Extra Stupid Political Network — really did classically overreact to the tragedy in Charlottesville, Va., in which a counter protester was run down and killed and two law officers died in a helicopter crash.

Observations on Charlottesville, Trump and MSM by Barney Bishop III, a former executive director of the Florida Democratic Party.

Charlottesville Mayor Caused 3 Deaths — Not Richard Spencer. You May Hate It But It Remains a Fact.

Here’s the full statement from ESPN. I re-checked it. The geniuses who make these types of decisions actually issued this statement:

“We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play-by-play for a football game has become an issue.”

On “The Five” (Aug. 22), Greg Gutfeld said this is like a story straight out of “The Onion.”

How can you not laugh at the absurdity of this? I’m sorry. It’s beyond poor optics. It’s just HILARIOUS.

It’s just the latest example of overreach by the Left and their allies in the media, though it’s hurting the ratings AND bottom line at the Extra Stupid Political Network.

ESPN May Still be Disney’s Cash Machine But the Audience is Thinning Out

Viewers are fleeing in droves from ESPN, which is impacting the value of parent company Disney(owner Disney stock may be overvalued due to ESPN’s decline).

Then Again, Since Libs Are Pushing Disney CEO Bob Iger and Other Progressive Icons to Run for President, ESPN’s Race to the Left May be Part of His Plan, and the Value of Disney’s Stock be Damned.

The Extra Stupid Political Network, its liberal media colleagues and their masters in the Democratic Party continue to try and milk crass political advantage through shaming and intimidation from the Charlottesville tragedy instead of trying to find actual solutions to America’s problems.

“I’m not going to waste my time screaming at a neo-Nazi who is going to hate me no matter what. And I’m not going to waste my time worrying about these statues … What we as black people need to do is we need to worry about our education. We need to stop killing each other. We need to try to find a way to have more economic opportunity in things like that.”

It’s almost as if the United States is becoming one big reality show, even though it’s about as far from reality as the newly discovered GN-z11 galaxy.

This truly is a lusty, no-holds-barred blind leap by ESPN into the chasm of utter nonsense and absurd political correctness.

Yeah, I know. The loony-tune Left and the rest of the snowflakes will say we’re all ‘insensitive’ and/or racist for mocking ESPN’s venture into the galactically stupid hall of fame.

But I just don’t care. Commentators at the Extra Stupid Political Network can hold hands and kumbaya into the sunset all they want with Colin Kaepernick and any kneeling Cleveland Brown.

Thank you, ESPN, for making my day.
