Excellent point. Surprisingly few people realize how internetworking has made almost our entire, planetary political system of nation states irrelevant. While it is possible to use social media to spread lies and propaganda nearly instantaneously the earning curve for the connected is almost as fast. People who remain open to manipulation are either crippled in the information age or choose to believe the lies. This severely limits the size of any war you manage to foment. Everyone is a reporter and a few minutes away from going viral. China, and its commitment to total internet control, is the most logical and dangerous of the surviving nation states. It is racing against time . . .
