The right to healthcare, food, and housing is a moral obligation on human society. Your criticism is based purely in the old world of capitalism and artificial scarcity. What resources are scarce? Markets handle pricing for scarce commodities. Services will be increasingly automated eliminating labor. Value will be assigned to intellectual and social activity. Adequate living based on UBI with free education will allow creativity and innovation in areas that humans actually excel at doing. The deadly link between value and material goods must be broken. This is very different from capitalism or socialism. We are moving beyond both.
