Excellent dissection of the modern system of governance, Mike.
James M. Ridgway, Jr.

You are correct. The abler and more aggressive have the advantage. The new solution to the perennial failure of protecting everyone else is changing the definition of value. The early success of capitalism was putting all the hoarded gold into circulation that upended the landed aristocracies and created the broader middle class. But hoarding wins in the end.

We are now moving beyond physical scarcity to intellect, innovation, and creativity as value. That can’t yet be hoarded so the new economy will flatten and expand.
