FWIW if the problem was dog meat obtained through cruelty, that’s one thing; it’s another though if the _very idea of eating dog meat itself_ is being challenged by someone who is not part of that culture; that’s imperialism. Yet it seems that’s the goal, to change that, not to change the _method_ of dog meat acquisition. The difference equals that between banning factory farms and banning pig meat.
