I’m with ING as well. They’re a Dutch bank and, at least here in the Netherlands, they’re known as the more down-to-earth bank. From a technical point of view they are lightyears ahead of the other banks we can choose from, the apps are amazing (at least here in the Netherlands they are), the style of communication is very similar to your branch and their brand is very well thought out.

When Postbank became ING they simply went from blue to orange to better reflect their home country. But in the years after that they started updating their brand and everything that comes with it. I’m actually really glad to see that they’re reflecting that through their branches across the world.

Believe it or not, but I actually like my bank because of all of this. You could say I’m proud to be with ING, but that may be taking it a little too far. Although their advancements in tech, their well thought-out brand and way of communicating to their customers definitely puts them out there.

If you’re interested you should look up some of their Dutch outings. Their public offices, for example, are a breath of fresh air. They’re all styled to be alike, when you walk in there’s a little lounge area. You can grab coffee or tea and you’re probably going to be offered an ING branded bottle of water.

Just my two cents :)
