God Freely Gives

God has given us many gifts.

Have you ever received a gift from someone and felt as if you didn’t deserve it? Did you feel unworthy? DId you ask, “What have I done to deserve this?”

Perhaps you feel that way when it comes to God’s gifts. Christ wants a relationship with human beings. Why? Because we were born and he loves us. Jesus came to us to show us the way to salvation. Salvation is one of Christ’s gifts. Salvation is our inheritance.

Our inheritance of God’s kingdom isn’t determined by how long we have traveled with Christ. It’s never too late to walk with Christ.

[Give] joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

Colossians 1: 12 NIV

Even when we feel we don’t deserve God’s love or an equal share of God’s kingdom, remember we are all entitled to them.
