Does Fast-following Make You a #JTBD Innovator?

Steve Blank is known for his contributions in the Lean Startup movement; and his book The Startup Owner’s Manual. Lot’s of good advice. However, he is completely wrong on how to target a market of opportunity.

He suggests that you should be a fast-follower — and continues to promote the fail-fast mentality. I think you need a better targeting mechanism than that.
