The article seems to ignore what CAP has been doing since 2005–06.

Andrew — thanks for reading and taking the time to respond. I did look at CAP as part of my landscape prior to writing this article. I agree that CAP has innovated digitally over the years. They scored near (but not at) the top in comparison to their peers.

That said, from my vantage it seemed like there were some strategies and tactics I was recommending that they are not doing or have implemented only partially. There may be excellent reasons for that internally or my method of evaluation may have obscured them — there’s only so much a top line overview from a user perspective can reveal. There may be a lot more going on behind the scenes that I’m not able to discern. The landscape I performed was not meant to be comprehensive, but rather directional to determine whether my thesis held water generally for the space (which I think it does).

I’d welcome the opportunity to discuss that with you or the team at CAP. If that’s interesting to you, reach out to me via DM on Twitter and let’s set something up. Thanks again for taking the time to read and respond.
