You really could have used some local input here. I used to live in Old West Austin. It’s cyclist friendly — EXCEPT there’s a huge hill between there and downtown. Oops. Hyde Park, where I live now, is MUUUCH better. (and Old Enfield cyclist-friendly? Sort of, but nobody there bikes; it’s all people richer than Lance).
