Thanks Stephanie. I’ve been telling people for years that my favorite time of a 100-miler is the last hour. Those people who are coming in to the finish have covered the same distance as the ones who finished many hours ahead of them. They finish with little fanfare, much less aid station help and do it all with huge smiles on their faces.
