Winnipeg, MB to Kenora, ON (190km)

After a great rest day in Winnipeg, I got fuelled up with a delicious Bulletproof coffee and groats (thanks Cristy!) and hit the road, starting at the Royal Canadian Mint – which makes bank notes (I hope I’m allowed to say the word bank and won’t get in trouble ).

Hello Ontario!

The people make the trip. Feeling pretty darn grateful to see friends new and old and how they’ve grow into their lives, becoming parents, leaders, travellers and mischief makers. Special shout out to Cristy for the introduction to what will become a new staple in my diet: Nutella milkshakes (don’t tell Dr. Hill!).

A few snaps from the amazing Human Rights Museum in Winnipeg, one of the most moving museum experiences I’ve ever had and definitely worth checking out. Stunning architecture and thought provoking exhibits spanning history – we’ve still got a lot to work to do.
