Damn is it hard trying to change.
It is especially hard when you’re raised in a way that is not at all in line with High Performance. And trying to attain that level of thinking and doing is difficult.
I’ve been in the process of trying to find a different kind of work online by doing a number of things like starting a dropshipping business, selling tshirts, starting a blog, making YouTube videos, buying books/courses in investing and business.
I’ve been on this journey for it feels like years now, but to be honest I’m not sure how long I’ve been attempting to break the cycle of go to college, get a job, pay your bills, and have little to no savings when it’s all said and done.
When you’re trying to outsmart the Elites who set up the system in a cleverly devised way where you’re supposed to comply and submit its hard as $&*#.
Every thing so far I’ve attempted I’ve failed at. I even tried becoming a real estate wholesaler where you flip contracts to properties with no money, no credit and no experience..
Sounds fishy I know, but people are really doing it.
Anyways where am I going with this…
Here it is: It’s hard to change, that’s all I truly want to say.
Don’t stop because of that fact though.
For me I have no successful friends and family. I mean my mom wants to kick me out, because I can’t afford to pay her $150 a month.
But I could do that if I had a real job with “real” money coming in.
The thing is I want more from myself. (And if you’re reading this far you want more from yourself).
I want to free myself and take risks that will inevitably put me in a place of freedom and financial stability.
In order to be successful I must ACT. That’s the way to be successful.
I know it is, because I watch video after video. I read book after book about success and high performers who make no excuses when it comes to making things happen.
But it doesn’t matter if I can read a book. All that matters is “Where is the money?” “What do you have to show for all your hard work? Any tangible, real results”
It doesn’t matter if I listen to the likes of Gary Vaynerchuk, Elliott Hulse, Grant Cardone, and Tony Robbins if I do absolutely nothing with the valuable step by step information they are giving away for FREE.
Blueprint to Success 101
One foot in front of the other. Grind. Hustle. Work. Hard Effin’ Work. Stop Tallking, Start Doing. It doesn’t matter if you suck at taking action all that matters is that you’re doing everything in your power to reach the level of success you desire.
That doesn’t mean reading a self-help book and sitting on your ass for hours after you’re done.
Take precise notes on ACTION steps to take IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU’RE FINISHED.
Not a day later, not I’ll wait two hours and then do it.
DO IT NOW.
That’s what I’m doing and You should dedicate your life to Action too.
Make content, put out content, lots and lots of content. I mean mind boggling amounts of content. You should annoy people with how much content you’re putting out.
Let me make this clear…
I don’t mean crappy content. Put some creativity into it. If you love it then make it seem that way to others. Put out work, but at least make it look nice.
Because when it’s all said and done when a great opportunity for work, money, exposure arises you’ll be the one with the work to show for it..
Instead of consuming social media. Create your own art. Create your own content. Don’t be just a consumer of content.
Okay I’m almost done…
Every day you should have a list of goals and actions to take.
It can be business related, family related, anything that you know you need to get done to be more productive and successful.
I’m an aspiring freelance writer so my lists would look something like this: (remember these are things that will add exposure, money and real results to your life)
ACTION STEPS FOR THE DAY
1) E-mailing every major publication, trade magazine, and website I want to write for and giving value by offering my services for free. (I’m getting started remember. Value comes first. Rewards come second. )
2) Engaging and networking with influencers by Instagram DMing. Twitter sharing, following and Twitter DMing.
3) Connect with freelance writers in my niche on their Blogs, LinkedIn profiles, Medium and every other social media platform where writers in my niche are present.
Give Value. Market. Sell. Stay Consistent.
JAB, JAB, RIGHT HOOK.
OK Bye and please Just Do…
