Alex that is correct, numerically there are more whites killed than blacks. Comparing percentages of a population or group is really only valid if the raw size of the population is the same for each group. If one group has a 1000 members and another has 500 then 10% loss or gain reflects vastly different effects on the group and on the total population of both groups combined.
