1. Copy the dumb-quote example in my post to clipboard

2. Create an empty one-line code block w/ the keyboard shortcut

3. With your cursor in the code block, Ctrl+v

The code block will be replaced with a non-code-blocked and smart quoted version of your clipboard contents
