Quotation marks
Marcin Wichary

I wish there was a way to disable your meticulously crafted smart quotes. In particular, when building a terminal command like

find . -name "*.js" -exec grep -Hn "Component." {} \;

It’s inappropriately converted to

find . -name “*.js” -exec grep -Hn “Component.” {} \;

which is invalid. For every code snippet I paste, I have to wrestle against your auto-smart-quoting feature to get what I want (what I originally pasted, verbatim).

Did you guys consider that what your users type is what they actually intended to write?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
