Dear Mark, (part #3),

Hey Mark. If you’re just finding me now, do have a look at part #1 and part #2 first!

I thought I’d let you know, you’ve got the same bad ads from Part #2 are still running. I notified your team (both in the in-ad notification tool and through a friend who works there), but… the same scam is still running on FB!

Here’s all you need to know.

Today’s scam ad on facebook:

Obviously lots of red flags. “Bilzerionaire” … referencing known brand names.

We see the landing page is very similar to last time. Blatant stealing of the CNN logo on a domain name spoofed to look like CNN. (“cnn.com.money-trending.com”). It’s the same pattern. Links all go to one place, there are fake FB reviews and it’s all a call to go to some get-rich-quick thing.

I’m sure you’ll be shocked to hear you could make $1500/day in profit using this new crypto currency trading system Postero!

Again, the formula here is the same. We have an important sounding and looking person pimping some magic scam to make money:

In just a few clicks we are signed up for an account… where we are quickly prompted to deposit money using a credit card:

The site looks almost the same as the last scammer “Ashford Investments”… they’ve just changed out the logo and rebranded as “Olsson Capital”. This company is, again, registered in Bulgaria.

Given I first reported this April 12th… and not much has been done, I have to ask… How many people have been exposed to this ad?

Cheers,

-Mike
