Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better
World Economic Forum

Of all the abject stupidity on display on the Internet, this might take the cake. That’s saying a lot given the the things that have been spouted since the U.S. election last month.

This author seems altogether prepared to give up most, maybe all, of what it means to be human. No more privacy, no striving to overcome, no work in service of one’s fellow humans. No space to call one’s own, no possessions, no conflict or competition. Would there be love? Where? How? What if that meeting among strangers was going on in your bedroom when the mood struck?

Sounds like a warmed-over John Lennon song. Idiocy parading as enlightenment.
