One more nudge. For dictation, I use the Dictate + Connect app on my iPhone. I set it so it only records when I’m talking, so pauses don’t matter.

I use a human transcriber (remember those?) who knows to ignore uh, ah, you know, I mean, etc. She also overlooks my heavy breathing as I dictate while walking in the hills.

For me, it’s a no-brainer. I can’t type worth a shit.
