Question — how was that C’s/Nets trade even legal? It really struck me for the umpteenth time watching the lotto tonight when they reminded everyone that they get Brooklyn’s pick next year too just how completely insane that trade was. Isn’t this what the Stepien Rule is for? I thought that meant you can’t trade away your first rounder in consecutive years, but 2018 will be the third year in a row they get Brooklyn’s pick. Should there be a Billy King Rule? Shouldn’t Billy King at least be required to get up on stage at the Lottery Show and apologize? Maybe see if Wyc Grousbeck needs more water or hor d’oeuvres?
