Manasynthesis. The slug can survive off of magical energy, and can detect its presence within 120 ft. If it comes within 5ft of a magical energy source, such as a Godstone, it instantly begins feeding, grows one size category bigger (allowing it to now grapple and swallow Large creatures) and gains 24 hitpoints.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The slug makes three attacks: two with its feelers, and one with either its slam, its venomous ocular autohemorrhage, or its bite.

Feelers. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 4 (1d8) acid damage. If the target is medium or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 13) and restrained until the grapple ends. The slug can grapple up to two creatures with its feelers at once.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 12 (4d6) acid damage.

Venomous ocular autohemorrhage. Range Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (4d6) acid damage and the target must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw, taking 12(4d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) piercing damage.

Swallow: The slug makes one bite Attack against a Medium or smaller target it is Grappling. If the Attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is Restrained (but not Blinded, since the slug is translucent). It has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the slug, and it takes 6(2d6) acid damage at the start of each of the slug’s turns. The slug can have up to 3 targets swallowed at a time. If the slug dies, or a swallowed creature deals 1 point of piercing damage to it, any swallowed creatures are no longer Restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 5 ft. of Movement, exiting prone.

This creature first appears in Chapter 14 of Glig, The Wandering Monster.
