The most interesting thing is the fact that have Capitol access and I’m able to come and go as I please. This has lead to some crazy situations such as when the intern coordinators in the office decided to send all of the interns on a bonding scavenger hunt. Us being second week interns walked the halls smiling and jubilant without the slightest knowledge that we were slowly getting completely lost. We ended up near the rooms where they would hide senators in case of an attack underground and decided that it was time to ask for help. However, after this experience I decided to go on a little scavenger hunt of my own. I went and saw all the sights on the national mall that I hadn’t visited since I was a toddler. When I was at the Washington monument there were kids that boldly said the I have a dream speech and in response we gave them a thunderous applause.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
