It’s a tough and lonely road — while there are others who can share part of the journey with you, in the end its you that’s blazing the trail. Often the romance of start-ups (or anything for that matter) hides the fact that at its core its hard, emotional work. Being able to create a little bit of space between your emotions and your mind becomes a core skill — it helps you recognise if you’re going through a process (and you have to let that unfold) or if you are genuinely stuck.

As for sharing — its really down to what your care about. It turns out that when you stand for something it will polarise people. This is not a bad thing!
