hmmm.. No. There are design conventions and proven patterns which have been researched and studied extensively, findings have been published in whitepapers, etc. It’s not based on “opinion” based on context. For example, that’s why it’s faster and less annoying to read a columns-based layout, i.e. newspapers vs. sentences which run 2000px wide on a screen before going to the next line. Same reason for left-alignment by the way… and numerous other best practices and design patterns which have been proven to simply work better and faster for people.
