When It comes to changing your life It all depends on your habit. Having habits and routines are essential aspects of our everyday lives. Whether you want to meet a goal, be more productive, or live a more balanced life, habits are those small changes that can add up to significant results over time.

One the Book, Atomic Habits by James Clear, talks about how developing habits doesn’t have to be complicated or feel foreign. You have the power to select the habits you want that will help you make progress. So lets the habit work for you not against you.

So now let’s talk about Habits to focus on that could change your life and my Life.

  1. Finding out what’s holding you back.

If you don’t let go of what’s keeping you from your success or from your future life, you’re going to be in a big problem. Because while you’re trying to move up it will drag you down. Since you’re reading this article you’re tired of your old life and problems, so I can assume that you’re trying to make changes but you’re not seeing any changes in your habit or something is holding you back.

When we say what’s holding you back, it may be many things for example :

  • Your Past
  • Bad Habits
  • Regrets
  • Your Fear of Failure
  • Feeling Unworthy
  • Your Comfort Zone
  • Lack of Confidence and More

Whatever it’s You need to find out.

2. Get Rid of What’s holding you back.

When I say get Rid of what’s holding you back, I make it sound simple and easy but It may not be easy as it seems. But whether it’s hard or not if you want to be successful you’ve to let go of what’s holding you back.

The first step to revolution is knowing where the revolution is needed and what’s holding the revolution.

So for now let’s talk about some steps on how to get rid of them, in the future blog I’ll be making content for every title in these articles.

  • Identify your triggers

Remember, triggers are the first step in developing a habit. Identifying the triggers behind your habitual behaviors is the first step in moving past them.

Spend a few days tracking your habit to see whether it follows any patterns.

Note things like:

  • Where does the habitual behavior happen?
  • What time of day?
  • Focus on why you want to change

Why do you want to break or change a certain habit? Research from 2012

Trusted Source suggests it may be easier to change your behavior when the change you want to make is valuable or beneficial to you.

Take a few minutes to consider why you want to break the habit and any benefits you see resulting from the change. Listing these reasons may help you think of a few that hadn’t occurred to you yet.

  • Practice mindfulness

Mindfulness can help you develop awareness around your thoughts, feelings, and actions. This practice involves simply observing impulses that relate to your habit without judging them or reacting to them.

  • Replace the habit with a different one
  • You might have an easier time breaking a habit if you replace the unwanted behavior with new behavior, instead of simply trying to stop the unwanted behavior.

Say you want to stop reaching for candy when you’re hungry at work. If you simply try to avoid the candy dish, you might fall back into the habit when you can’t resist hunger. But bringing in a Tupperware of dried fruit and nuts to keep at your desk gives you another snack option.

3. Start Productive and Positive habits in your life

You’ll find more about productive systems in my last article below

1. Wake Up At a Reasonable Time

Getting up early can make a significant impact on how your day is going to shape out. Of course, this isn’t to say that you have to get up at five am each day. However, training your body to wake up earlier is an excellent habit that will provide a big reward.

2. Schedule Out Your Day

Scheduling out your day is another vital addition to this list of habits that can change your life. It’s important to know what you’re doing for the day to avoid getting distracted and losing focus. In addition, scheduling out your day can give you an idea of your priorities so you can accomplish what’s most important to you.

3. Give Yourself Deadlines

Giving yourself deadlines to achieve each day is one of the best habits you can develop. Most people don’t like deadlines or the pressure that comes with them, but this can actually be helpful when you change your perspective.

4. Make Time For Movement

Establishing a habit of moving your body throughout the day can change your life. It’s not good for us to be sitting all day without getting up and moving. According to a Mayo Clinic 2019 study, people who sit for eight hours a day with no physical activity have the same risk of dying similar to someone who smokes or is obese. This is bad news for many Americans because sedentary jobs in America have increased more than 83% since 1953, according to the American Heart Association. According to the same survey, only 20% of Americans have physically active jobs. The average office worker actually sits 15 hours a day.
