Winter break challenge: days 9–10

I decided to spend these two days reading “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas”. It’s getting more and more interesting and exciting to read it as I haven’t read it in Russian,so it's the first time I actually do this. I really like the main character, he’s quite young and wise at the same time, which is great, because some people around him, who are much older, don’t seem to understand the simpliest things sometimes while this boy is literally full of graciousness and compession.

For example, his dad’s phrase about poor people from the camp made me really sad. How can someone ever say something like this? Moreover,I think it’s not the best way to answer your curious child’s questions about the world around him.“Those people…well, they’re not people at all, Bruno.”

However, I really liked this quote “A home is not a building or a street or a city or something so artificial as bricks and mortar. A home is where one family is..”I agree with that because the thing that really matters to me is to be near my family, so I don't really care where to live. As naively and silly as it may sound, but I’m sure that everything else can get better as long as I’m with the people that I love.
