Kenya, France, Lebanon…

Only in worst of times, we show who we are..!

These past few days everyone only talks about Paris attacks and tragedy that happened to them! Don’t get me wrong, I have few friends there and I was devastated when I’ve heard the news about Paris! BUT!!! And this is big but, I am angry that people are not this upset about the rest of the world!

Here are just couple of examples, of which you should be angry about:

15. April 2014. Bentiu, South Sudan

In South Sudan’s death toll massacre, exceeding 400 dead!

16. December 2014. Peshawar, Pakistan

Peshawar school massacre, 141 dead, 132 of them were children!!! And before this in Karachi (Pakistan, 2007) 180 dead!

2. April 2015. Garissa, Kenya

148 students have been killed at a Kenyan university. Also, more than 200 people died in the Nairobi blast on 7. August 1998.

12. November 2015. Beirut, Lebanon

This was just a day before Paris attacks, and I haven’t seen people’s reaction, at least putting Lebanese flag on their Facebook profile?! 43 people died in suicide blast.

And this is not the first time something like this have happened! Just search for Sabra and Shatila massacre in September 1982, up to 3500 people dead! And this was long time ago, when there wasn’t Facebook, Twitter or something like it, so that people could say how angry they are…

This is the result of our world, it’s a body of a little boy, about three-year-old, drowned off the coast of Turkey, fleeing from that same terror.
His name was Aylan Kurdi
I’ve chose this picture because most of you are deeply affected by it, and you should be! If we don’t change and act when people need help, you’ll see this kind of picture, more often!
So pray for the world, not only France, because, if we don’t fix the world, Paris will happen more often.

If you feel the same, share my story, comment, like… Start an NGO, help total stranger, just do something, make some noise, don’t be silent anymore!!!
