2020 is in Two Months, How Prepared Are You?
You don’t learn to fight in the face of war, you do that before.

It’s November, 2019. Inasmuch as my heart is filled with so much gratitude for how far I have come this year, I celebrate with deep sobriety.
In the next month, festivity would be the order of the day and you will to an extent be distracted, therefore, the best time to plan for 2020 is now.
But Miracle, we have been taught to make new year resolutions in January?
Hello, sincerely speaking, how many of your 2019 new year resolutions have you achieved?
One of it? Two? Five? definitely not all.
You know why?
Any goal influenced by the spur of the moment will loose it’s drive when the motivation fizzles away.
Hence, if you are unimpressed by how 2019 fared and you desire a greater 2020, you are certain you don’t want to be a spectator in the progress of people next year, you heart yearns for more.
Here are a couple of steps that if applied now will yield you what your heart desires.
1) Re — evaluate. Make out time to go over the happenings of the year in all sincerity.
The good, the bad, the ugly.
2) Be grateful for everything that has happened. The good times brought you so much joy, the bad times taught you lessons.
3) Begin with the end in mind. Where do you want to be by December, 2020? Be clear about it.
4) Decide on the path that will lead to that desired end. You may have to tie it to a Sustainable Developmental Goal, just be really specific.
5) Who is already where you want to be. Find at least 5 of them. Make plans to buy their books, attend their events, etc.
6) What skill will you need to get there? Are there certifications on that already? Note them, you’ll need them.
7) Where do the experts of that industry gather? In 2020 don’t miss any of such industry event and when you do network properly.
8) Begin to talk about it, as you learn share, be intentional about positioning yourself as an expert. You can create a community so you have an audience that listen to you.
Whether it’s WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook. Just have a channel where you constantly educate an audience.
9) Surround yourself with like minded and goal driven individuals, those should be the only kind of people in your inner circle.
10) Seek for opportunities to apply your knowledge, volunteering, public speaking. You can even create your own course, etc.
Doing this will also help you achieve your financial goals because as always, money will only go in the direction of value.
A beautiful new month to you.
I am off to continue to draft strategies for 2020, will you begin yours today?
P.S: It’s a new month, why not receive it with a smile?😊
