Highlighting seven of the new members we welcomed to Volley, an online community of makers, this week with the goal of introducing them to each other…

Max Gustofson

Max is a talented product designer, formerly at Apple, who is now building an online design school that teaches courses through one on one mentoring. Their “design 101” course starts on April 17. Max, I think you’d like Eunice’s work…

I love this sculpture by Eunice

Eunice Bae

Eunice is a very talented visual artist. I really enjoyed exploring her portfolio of paintings, sculptures and prints. You guys need to check her stuff out. Eunice, I have a feeling you’ll be interested in the design of Claudio’s language platform…

Claudio Bosco

Claudio is building an online language learning platform that pairs you with a native speaker over webcam. While many seem to be focusing on language learning AI, I love his human approach. Claudio, there are definite overlaps here with Max’s work above👆(you guys should connect)…

Alex Enchin

Alex sees a future where anyone can earn passive income from their empty parking spot. He’s building an airbnb for parking spaces, which some Volley members appear to already be using. Alex, when you and Jeremy need a hand technically, you should chat with Haris…

Haris Mahmood

Haris Mahmood

Haris is a talented developer who mentors a lot of young coders. He runs a blog with many useful tutorials. I thought his piece about adding SVG line animations to your site was particularly good. Haris, Charlie is a talented developer who is working on his own thing…

Charlie Feng

Charlie is a thoughtful young entrepreneur who is really interested in self publishing. He’s working on a platform that helps authors market their new books more effectively. Charlie, having just come out of university, I think you’d be interested in Anthony’s mission…

Charlie’s indie author marketing platform

Anthony Lee

Anthony is helping scientists translate their research documents. His platform currently supports Chinese and Japanese translations. To think that we are unable to build off each other’s research because of language barriers underscores the importance of this work. Anthony, it would be interesting to chat with Claudio about how he manages his network of tutors. This could inform how you manage your translators.

All for now! Let me know what you guys thought of this… 📣
