In June, Apple announced killed many rumours by announcing iMac Pro, HomePod, 10.5 inch iPod Pro, iOS 11 and watchOS 4. The version 11 of iOS will come with improved Siri and several updates apps. It will further enable iPad users to perform multitasking just like MacBook. At the same time, watchOS 4 also comes with a redesigned app browsing UI, new watchfaces, and option to pair with compatible fitness and gym equipments.

Also, Apple made it easier for developers to build augmented reality (AR) apps for iOS devices by providing a new ARKit. But Apple disappointed many bloggers and users by not announcing the 10th anniversary edition of iPhone. The company even did not announce a number of products which bloggers were speculating about. Hence, both users and tech bloggers are waiting eagerly for the products that will be unveiled at next Apple event.

5 Important Announcements Apple May Make at Its September Event

1) IPhone 8

Apple announced iOS 11 at its WWDC event in June. But the company disappointed many fans by announcing iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus instead of iPhone 8. It is reportedly going to announce iPhone 8 at its upcoming event to be held in September. IPhone 8 will come as an upgraded version of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. But it will feature a curved OLED display and an all-glass design. The device powered by iOS 11 will also support wireless charging. However, Apple is yet to reveal any information about iPhone 8.

2) Apple Watch 3

At present, Apple is a leading player in worldwide wearable marketplace. The company has already announced watchOS 3 at its WWDC with an array of new features and improvements. Apple is expected to announce Watch 3 at its upcoming event. Apple Watch 3 is rumoured to come with both cellular and non-cellular options. The device will also be available with 38mm and 42mm sizes, while sharing the design with predecessors. But Watch 3 will leverage the new features provided by watchOS 3.

3) Mac Mini

Mac Mini is the smallest desktop computer in the Macintosh line-up. Apple reduced the size of this desktop computer model significantly by removing desktop, keyboard, and mouse. The company launched Mac Mini by targeting the students and professionals using traditional Windows PCs. It even launched a special server model of Mac Mini in 2009. However, Apple discontinued the server model of Mac Mini in 2014. Many blogger speculate that Apple many introduce an updated version of Mac Mini at its upcoming event.

4) HomePod Speaker

In June, Apple announced HomePod speaker with built-in Siri support. The users can use Siri to control the speakers through voice commands, and access information like news briefing and weather forecast. HomePod further uses spatial awareness to tune the sound automatically to the amount of space available in the room. The users can further use the powerful speakers to access their favourite music from Apple Music. But Apple is yet to announce the release date for HomePod. The company is expected to announce the release date for HomePod at its upcoming event.

5) New Emoji

In July, Apple unveiled new emoji for iOS, watchOS, and macOS. The new emoji include animals, mythical characters, food items, and smiley faces along with a bearded person, woman in headscarf, and breastfeeding. The new emoji will make it easier for users to express themselves in more creative and diverse ways. While previewing the emoji, Apple revealed its plan to make them available to users by 2018. Apple is expected to launch the new emoji officially at its upcoming event.

However, Apple is yet to reveal details of its upcoming event. Many iOS app developers and tech bloggers speculate that Apple is planning to organize the upcoming iPhone event in September.
