  • Wake up at the same time each day.
  • Start your day with a healthy breakfast that includes protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This can help fuel your body and mind for the day ahead.
  • Take some time to do some light physical activity, such as going for a walk or doing some gentle stretches. This can help improve your mood and increase your energy levels.
  • Set aside time for activities that you enjoy and that help you relax, such as reading a book, listening to music, or practicing a hobby.
  • Limit your exposure to electronics, especially in the hour before bedtime. The blue light emitted by screens can interfere with your body’s natural sleep patterns.
  • Make time for social connections with friends, family, or loved ones. Connecting with others can help improve your mood and reduce feelings of isolation.
  • Prioritize self-care activities, such as taking a warm bath, practicing deep breathing, or journaling. These activities can help reduce stress and improve your overall well-being.
  • Wind down before bedtime with a relaxing routine, such as reading a book or listening to soothing music. This can help prepare your body and mind for a good night’s sleep.
  • Get plenty of sleep each night. Aim for 7–8 hours of sleep to help your body and mind recharge and restore.
  • Remember to be kind to yourself and to practice self-compassion. It’s okay to not be perfect, and it’s important to give yourself grace and allow yourself to make mistakes.
