We use them every day. To access our computers, our social networks, our work files, our digital wallets. Passwords help us keep our privacy on what really matters. Nonetheless, we hear at daily basis horror stories of compromised keys and hacked virtual premises. Most of the times the solution is to use even more complex passwords and security schemes. But should it be so complicated? What is the state of the art?

Unless you have been living under a rock, you must have heard of biometrics. Fingerprints, iris scans, etc. These measures help us protect our stuff, tying it to what is really personal, on our own physical bodies. However, these biological signatures are static. Once compromised, they can never be reused. Could we do better than that?

MindPass is proposing an alternative solution. Yes, biometrics, but dynamic. This can be achieved by physiological biosignals: mainly neural ones for that matter. In this blog we will provide you our thoughts and ideas on how such a system could be implemented and why we think the time is right.
