Jake, it has taken me quite some time to get to responding to comments from the past few weeks. This means and meant so much to me after posting that piece. The darkness consumes me at times and my nature is to love and protect everyone. For that, I hesitated. However, I see more now that in a way, I am protecting and loving those suffering, just by talking about it, and letting them feel less alone in their battle.

I am recovering and finding a new muse for a little bit of sunshine and perhaps the elusive unicorn. Love and joy exists when we let it in, we just have to chose to see it and let it into our lives. We must at some point find out way our of the darkness and reach the light. The journey, the climb out, it can feel like the hardest, longest journey, and sometimes it truly is.
