3.1 Prototyping

Storyboarding for large screen installation

1. When people approach, the flying particles will form the word of “design”.
2. When people trigger a certain letter by “touch/gesture/posture”, the corresponding design value/principle will show up. For example, the particles of “D” will disperse and form “Delightful”.
3. When audience go away, “design” will disappear.

This is when “D” disappears and “Delightful” shows up. I haven’t made the transition animation yet.

1. Accomplish transition animations.

2. Explore more visual styles and think about their appropriateness with types of platform and the consistency among them.

3. Explore more animations of 6 words, personify these words.

4. Explore technologies that can be used in realizing interaction.

5. Explore sound effects.
