The world’s best bank accounts for international travelers and nomads
Thomas K. Running

I am in Japan. To sign up with the N26 bank or to get the Revolutcard I would have needed a smartphone. To sign up with Metrobank, Citibank AU, or Charles Schwab Bank I would have had to go to another country. Signing up with DKB was possible from Japan with a regular web browser. Then I had to ask a lawyer to notarize a copy of my main passport page and mail that to DKB in Germany. They sent me a cash card and a VISA card and paid for the passport notarization. But I am lucky, because I can read and write German. Maybe it can be done with Google translate?
