Do It Afraid.
At the top of life, most things must be done afraid.
I remember when I was in school then I went to a prom where I was introduced to BHAG.
A BIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS GOAL.
This is something that gets you going, I mean, that gets you excited and moves you forward.
From the name BHAG, you can tell a few characteristics.
It is big, this is a goal that’s massive in scope.
When I say a big hairy audacious goal, you know it should be transformative and so much impactful. It is hairy, this is a goal that’s messy and uncertain such as that of solving forces that will help you to grow, and finally, it is audacious. If there is one thing this generation has, it is audacity.
Now let’s get back to business:
I was called out, by one of the professors to give a speech,
let’s be truthful to ourselves I was unprepared to give a speech but when I was called upon, i was filled with fear and trembling.
Anyways I came out to give the speech afraid, but guess what happened? I did it afraid.
This is the interesting part, I was given a scholarship after the speech. Then I concluded that most times, some things need to be done afraid.
Sometimes your goal has to be daring! Your haters need to hear about you and be cold.
