That’s an argument from majority. Blanchard is not interested in pathologising transsexuals, he’s interested in the truth. As my essay on the history of autogynephilia shows, the link between trans identities and autoerotic behaviours has been known about for many years, see eg Hirshfeld’s work referred to from 1918 or Burich/McConaghy (1978). There was nothing new in this idea when Blanchard came to it.

If this idea is so wrong, why is there so much empirical evidence for it on the internet, even outside of the specific instances I identified, where is is explicitly linked to the trans identity? And even within your own experience as you relate?

(Still waiting for you to substantiate your claim that ‘cis women’ are aroused by femininity, which was an important part of your objection).
