Wow…thank you for being so open and honest.

I’m not 30 yet but I can almost imagine how much pressure I’ll get from family and friends when I’m 30 and not married. I’m just 26 and I feel like running away from everyone.

It’s almost worse in Nigeria. Everyone expects u to be married with at least a child before u 30. Like duh! I need a man for that.

A woman who isn’t married at that time is seen as desperate. Random people will look at u and pity u. Some would ask why u put your career before womanhood.

The world is changing so fast that I’m very certain that many of us won’t have figured out our lives at 30. I have so much I still want to do.

Why do society place so much pressure on women. Marriage is a journey not a destination. Most women live their life working towards getting their dream man. Then get married and wonder what next!
