We all struggle with planning, scheduling and being productive.
We keep trying different solutions, apps, methods and, still, fail to be as productive as we want to be.

To work for me, productivity systems have to be dead simple, available everywhere, and mix digital and analog tools.
I definitely better think in analog and plan in digital.

So, following the path of my pen-and-paper productivity system, i developed a system to plan my week that i would like to share here.

The three key elements of the system are:

  • listing all the tasks you have to do
  • tagging them both with estimated time and importance level
  • placing them in a triage matrix that will guarantee your targets will be hit

Let’s see them in details.

First things first: list all the task you have to accomplish for your week

Take a pen, an empty sheet of paper, and list your tasks for the week.

Be careful to give each task a number, as you can see in the following image. Dead simple.

It is important to write down a single list: mix personal and professional stuff, it’s ok.

Second: assign estimated time
