The Opening
What the hell is a “Miscellaneous Project”?
miscellaneous |ˌmɪsəˈleɪnɪəs| composed of members or elements of different kinds
Miscellaneous; various, varied, mixed. Or as the Oxford Dictionary of English said, it is the made up of members or elements of different kinds. Yes, it basically sums up what this project is all about. It is a project that based on many diverse elements of dissimilar kinds.
Still sounds so ambiguous?
Here’s a little back story of the project:
The writer — myself, encountered a very unique word (well, I came from Indonesia so pardon my English but this particular word really struck me); blasé. A term for ones who easily bored and most likely caused by unimpressed feelings towards something that had been experienced or seen so often before. In a three-months vacation in Jakarta, Indonesia, things could be pretty much boring; skyscrapers with no particular history, sophisticated malls, and overrated brasseries. Then that word just popped into my mind, blasé, made me realised how boring it would be, spending my three-months vacation by not doing anything. With the genius mind of the writer (yes, it’s me), I came up with the notion that says, “hey, maybe I should do my very own 31 days project!” and here I am, making this blog to get rid of my boredom.
That is all for now.
P.S.: for tomorrow (29.6.2014), there would be a second bit of the back story.
Until next time!
The Writer.
