A task force on illegal trading of bank card information

People’s bank of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the CBRC, and the Office of the Central Leading Group for Cyberspace Affairs jointly issued a notice (9/12/2016)on their joint efforts to combat illegal trading of bank card information. From September 2016 to April 2017, the task force will target illegal trading activities of bank card information, expunge existing illegal bank card information online, check the security and standardization of POS machines of bank and non-bank financial institutions.
