Risen From Field Sales — Now Creating Product Solutions & Promoting them

Here is a career story so far — Engineer in Electronics & Communication, MBA in Marketing, 3+ Years in Field Sales, 2 Years in Product Management and now since last 6 Months in Product Development(Web & App), Digital Marketing & Designing (UX).

Let me say I have enjoyed them all & have not planned anything but deciding on my next move consciously. It is almost like driving your car at the pace, on the road, with the passengers you want & not knowing the destination exactly but your next turn/stopover.
The objective — to experience the best & contribute as much possible wherever required.

Not to come across as a mere traveller who has no real career objectives — let me clarify that since my early college days all I had wanted to do was contribute to people’s lives through some real life problem solutions. Creating a campaign around it, giving them new technology to use, making it affordable, taking it to where they are, explaining them the benefits are mere details to the overall bigger objective statement.
And am happy how much I have achieved so far in 5.5+years so far — had I not changed roles, companies, geographies then learning would not have been so encompassing.

More than anything am happy where I have reached & I feel I can do Product Development, Digital Marketing & Designing for the next 10 years & easily grow into something bigger and better constantly.
The sense of finally launching the ship for bigger voyages has dawned after refining the make, testing the sturdiness against a few storms — with many new and important frontiers/battles to conquer biggest of all being your very own!”

And I can’t stop gushing about UX — isn’t it the best for people who love designs, consumer behaviour, technology!
Just one pointer — UX should not be treated as a pure design science but it requires a great deal of market/product knowledge along with solid data crunching to back the prototypes.

So, till have more to share.
