The answer appears

It’s a funny thing when you look backwards to see how far you've come in life. What parts do you choose to look at? What themes? What trends?

Every time we reflect we’re looking at something different, colored by the emotional state of the moment. We look at what we want to look at, and we don’t look at what we don’t. Hardly a fair look.

Sometimes, in a deep mode of thought we even think “Golly gee, all I can see is a series of emotionally fueled states at a location I call “me.” How can I really answer those nagging questions, like if I’ve done better for myself or worse? How can I ever even know?”

“Ah, f-ck it.”

The answer appears.
