Who is Beatles?
The Beatles, formed in 1957 as The Quarry Men and debuting in 1962, are a Liverpool, UK rock band and one of the best-selling music groups in the world, with a combined physical sales of 500 to 600 million.
After their second single “Please Please Me” became a hit, the band topped the charts several times and held the top spot on the album charts for a year.
In 1964, the band entered the U.S. market and continued to have worldwide hits, becoming one of the most well-known acts in the history of the world at that time.
However, in 1970, the group broke up after a trial, Lennon and McCartney temporarily parted ways, and the four of them went on to have solo hits, until Lennon was murdered in 1980.
