Once you make the decision to strive for a goal there are many steps to take in order to achieve this success. Making the commitment to follow through can be a challenge to stick with.

Having an accountability partner will improve your personal accountability along with increasing your value, relationships and quality of living.

When someone relies on you, the worst thing to do is let them down. It’s bad enough letting yourself down when you don’t achieve a goal by means of giving up, but letting someone else down feels worse.

At the end of February my friend and fellow colleague were discussing some of our goals and ideas for the near future. Like most friends we talk all the time, and together came up with the idea of beginning each day to discuss our objectives allowing us to motivate and support one another.

The breakthroughs on both ends have been unbelievable because I’m able to achieve my goals faster. My energy and self-efficiency has skyrocketed along with personal accountability. The excitement and anticipation really drives me each day with knowing that someone is looking forward to what I have accomplished.

Personal accountability is where you really strive and it starts from within and has to be something you desire. Family, friends and coworkers can hold you accountable, but if it’s for something you don’t really want it won’t last.

I encourage you to find someone who is looking into achieving their own goals as well and become accountability partners together.

What actions will you take to be more accountable? Is there someone supportive that can help you?

Cheers,

Angela
