Our church and people try to live in the way of Jesus Christ, who, with his life stood up for the poor and outcast in society — those who were condemned and thrown out by the Empire. He stood against the Roman Empire and was perceived a threat to his own people and was condemned and murdered for his anti-Empire message and way of being.
