Calvinball
So I have not done a thing with this blog. I signed up for it, wrote one entry on education, and then abandoned it. I signed up for another blog on another platform and wrote exactly one entry. I have decided that I am going to use this for my scrapbooking blog (sorry any teacher followers) and my other blog for professional purposes, if I ever get around to it.
What brought this on, you might ask. Well, I signed up for a one month long scrapbook challenge called Calvinball. The name comes from the beloved comic strip Calvin and Hobbes. In their version of Calvinball it was a never-ending game that seemed to start out inspired by baseball, but it was ever-evolving. The rules were constantly changed. Scrapbooking Calvinball is like this. The basic rules are that you get one point for every page you scrapbook this month. You can also earn points for commenting on others work, fulfilling any one of the many bonus point challenges, or blogging.
Hence, this post. I have yet to finish a layout, but I hope to do one tonight. Since I’m working, the weekends will be my most productive times for scrapbooking. I’m not as gung-ho as some of the ladies. Some have been preparing for months. Well or a month anyway. I’m not expecting to head the leader board. I just want to be inspired and get some scrapbook pages finished.
If I can figure out how to do it, I will share my progress here. Thanks for reading.
