Today is a somber day.
Many beloved people,
Were in harm’s way.
We found out who was born,
To have heroism worn.
As a bright shining crown,
The day the towers came down.
May we always keep in mind,
Throughout our daily grind.
The spirit of those we lost,
Who paid the highest cost.
